I have often struggled with the straight classification between good and evil in mythology - I would like my kid to know that there are layers to every person - that Ravana for example was once 'good'.... and that Shiva was not being 'bad' when he cut off Ganesha's head.
I tend to say 'behaved badly' rather than saying that someone was a bad person - in the hope that the brat will eventually get curious and read up more complex interpretations.
LOL at timeouts and Shiva's mop!!!
