Lovely, lovely, UTBT! Bob Ross and Donna Dewberry on PBS were my inspiration too!! Isn't One-Stroke Painting such a clever idea for stunning results?! I knew oils were out for me after seeing Bob Ross - there is no way one can do that without some magical talent:)

Loved the fish in your slideshow... in fact, all of them!

And, your 2 chithis growing up with you - same here - my mom's 2 youngest sisters grew up with us :) And, my mom is a chem teacher - doing her M,Sc and M.Ed after I was born!!

UTBT SAYS: Donna Dewberry and Bob Ross are mesmerizing. The chithis and parent getting a degree is a surprising coincidence.

Okay...exams must be over. Out with the next post!

UTBT SAYS:
Inspired by 'If you give a mouse a cookie' by Laura Numeroff:
If I write a post, I need to write about the the different stages.
If I write about the stages, I need to support it with documented articles.
If I quote articles, I need to show visual examples.
If I need to show visual examples, I need to get samples from Chula and Mieja's art work.
If I need to get sample from C and M's art work, need to sort and organize them.

Just kidding :) I am looking to post the next part on Monday. I am going in that pile of art work on Sat after I get the end-of-school-gift-giving-phenomenon out of the way.

Your work is just stunning to look at. I have some very serious respect for anyone who can put paints to paper and make it look like real life.

Looking forward to your art and kids series. Its been on my mind a lot. How to continue to nuture art in the kids. I feel like I am past the stage where I can fruitfully engage WInkie in art, and like its time he could use some professional lessons. Maybe your post will throw some light on that...

UTBT SAYS: 6 ish right. I am planning on writing, but God knows when I will get to it. So ping me if you have questions. May be the questions will help me think.

Another talent! Wonderful paintings. All of them deserve to be framed and displayed. Storing them in boxes is a crime :)

UTBT SAYS: Thanks Balaji. You are very kind.

A teacher, artist, engg, some one with their head screwed right....what other avatars do u hold? Out with it woman. Loved almost all ur paintings! Keep up the work...don't wait...take some time now and then and do it.

UTBT SAYS: Thanks Shobana.
Time.... *sigh*
I would be in a happy place when I am done with the damned degree. It is like a mirage, looks so close, but refuses to come in to my hands. Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't helping either.
