Very cool blog. Loved the pictures too. So my question, given the nerd I am! So what is a good age to start formal training? On one hand moving children into a structured style by putting them in art too early might force the creativity out of them or structure them to think in a particular manner? Would the modern art painter been better off or worse off if he/she had been “taught” formal art?

“Would a modern art painter been better off or worse” is totally open to interpretation. There are way too many factors and variables for one to make even a wild guess. But in general there are certain opinions based on the theories which I will be talking in the next part of this series.
