Sandhya : I think I just know where you are coming from ! Some school authorities look at me as if I have used a four letter word and as if I am a potential molester ! Or simply they say ‘we think we are very safe we dont need it ” ..Helps me sharpen my skills like patience , tolerance and much needed wisdom to accept things that cant be changed !

Replying to Viji above: Yes, in fact they are more vulnerable than those who are aware.

Said ostriches know they can come to me if they want. I tried to create some awareness a while ago, and was effectively shunned for some time. Until they thought I no longer would infect them with my radical thoughts. After all, why fill the heads of sweet, innocent kids with useless and harmful nonsense!

I thought it was time well spent. Although I have talked about this to my kids before, the workshop setup, and hearing it clearly from the expert drives the point home. Also, in the interactive group setup, kids are a bit more alert and aware I think.

Plus, the parent discussion that followed was fruitful. It was good to exchange ideas with other parents, and talk about concerns that usually don’t get discussed.

Talked to V today and she said it has been nice getting in touch with you ! I did the workshop for S and S at home, when a year back she had mailed me the video by the doctor. I keep repeating every few months that the elder one kinda gets bored and says “Yeah..yeah…I know”. For the younger one how many ever times I repeat certain cautions, it does not seem to be enough..she gives me heart attacks by doing what I ask her not to do

Thatz wonderful that SMJ is bringing awareness to people! And yes I am with Chula on her answer! It is very uncomfortable!!

There are people who live in the US, Switzerland who were shocked seeing SMJ. One was shocked that this happens in India and another one apparently said that this is all a sham and it never happens in India. Well, to each his/her own!!

Thanks Anita , for this review of sorts ! The children were real angels .( a little violent- in -thought though !)
At a more serious level may be being tickled is what makes her uncomfortable ( hence the underarms ).
They did make the session very interesting , interactive and should I add challenging ??!And I love these challenges .
