This is classic Colbert style, okay?
Tip of the hat to brake oil. Paint scratches on you car paint, the ones that have gone through just the clear coat can be repaired by rubbing over the scratch with a soft cloth dipped in a little brake oil. If the scratch has gone all the way to the primer then, there is no hope. Now DON’T you dare ask me how I chanced upon this information. Consider yourself warned.
Wag of the finger to Reliance shops. IMO, they are like cockroaches. Inferior(in quality) and pop up everywhere. I got a kurti from Reliance Trends (the model with no slits at the sides) for myself. Looks like it is specially designed to wear for people doing adipradhakshinam. Being an aggressively cut, fabric saver model, it is okay as long as I don’t intend to sit cross legged or take wide strides. I did try it out before I purchased it, but one hardly walks and tests comfort level for a piece of garment! The track pants I bought for Chula came out of the washing machine with small holes after one wear and one wash. Very disappointing.

the shirts are equally bad.. My dad bought a few and the color ran..
UTBT SAYS: As luck would have it, I washed R’s Reliance Trends shirt separately. Absolutely thankful for that bulb.
Shorts with the label – 6yrs didn’t fit for a 5 yr old.
Tip of the hat – spent 2 days thinking maybe my kids are good wrt ht, wt
Wag of the finger – soon realized it is a not so realiable place and my feet felt the ground 🙂
Been a while since i saw this show – so the title took some time to register.
UTBT SAYS: Yes, everything runs two sizes small 🙁 The husband gets his Colbert/Stewart dose from Dailyshow.
never go there. also fabindia. stuff looks like pocha kapda after two washes.
UTBT SAYS: My Fabindia kurtas -> wear->spray->hang in the sun->spray again-> put them inside. After 10 wears I will probably give it away. Almost regret getting them 🙁
pochha = mop (for the hindi-challenged)
UTBT SAYS: Choxie, that much I have gathered from 8mo of conversation with the house help.
I hate these Reliance outlets in Blore also. Service, ambience, quality of products…for me everything falls short. I always seek out the smaller supermarkets run by Malayali guys, in the area. They are the best in terms of quality of products, quickness of service and they are generally very pleasant to the customers.
UTBT SAYS: I am at a phase, I am thoroughly hating anything mass produced.
I know I know…the Reliance outlet ka clothes are a real letdown 🙁 I dont buy for R anymore from there and I was an idiot to try twice *rolls eyes*
@Chox – Fab India as poocha kapad! you are scaring me 🙁 I dont buy for R from Fab…they are way too expensive..even my clothes I have only bought twice…I think they over charge too much
UTBT SAYS: Don’t feel bad. We went with our whole family and bought bad quality stuff for hyped up prices 🙂
