Chula: Amma, tell me about Lebanon.
Me: Errr…Lebanon?
Chula: I want to know about Lebanon.
Me: Okay, why do you want to know about Lebanon?
Chula: Because, I don’t know about Lebanon. That is why I want to know about it.
(Told with a sigh, eyes rolling, hand shaking and intonation as if explaining it to Rainman)
Me: But I don’t know anything about Lebanon
Chula: Googal it amma.
Me: What it?
Chula: Googal it.
Me: What is google Chula?
Chula: It is something that lives in our computer and when we ask a question it tells us an answer.
So we know about Googal, inspite of not introducing Googal formally.

Lebanon … where did that come from?
Mine so far knows US, India for obvious reasons …. China and Japan because of her friends … Mexico because of our house keeper. Somehow she has picked Canada, Australia and France …. I think her world map knowledge ends there.
UTBT SAYS: Montessori, so they do immersion days. Asian immersion-Lebanon. Also they did a song abt Lebanon for UN day. That’s how. If we are talking abt Why Lebanon, there is more. Will do a post on that.
Lol.. Om Googal’aya Namahah! It is all pervasive, you know! Some years down the line, Chula will tweet:

UTBT SAYS: May be not is my current thought. I personally get over whelmed with information over load. Google is creating that trend, ushering the next generation in to an era of information garbage that they have to sort to get to the real data.
